I am from Szécsisziget, Zala county in Hungary. My grandmother used to tell me about Máhomfa all the time. I know for sure there are Ambrus's in Szécsisziget and it is a small village, will be very easy to find them. Most likely it is the same extended family.

You need somebody who speaks hungarian. I remember most likely nobody speaks english in that village.I am certain you are looking for them. Lenti is only 8 kilometers away. I spent my childhood there and know the whole area.If you need any help from me, i would be more than happy to call you. I have many relatives in that whole area.
